About This Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500

This 2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 4×4 began life as a brand-new vehicle purchased from Mercedes-Benz of San Luis Obispo, California, before receiving a high-end Sentinel camper conversion by Adventure Family Van Builds in Hurricane. With only approximately 15,000 miles since new, this professionally built adventure van combines Mercedes factory capability with premium overland refinement. Finished in Tenorite Grey, it features a Colorado Camper Van pop-top, Flarespace extended rear flares with sliding windows, a side-mounted ladder, and a rear-mounted spare tire carrier with integrated storage.

The Sprinter was optioned from the factory with an extensive list of packages, including Basic Comfort, Driver Convenience, Premium Plus, Comfort Plus, Swivel Seat, Exterior Lighting, and both Low- and High-Range 4×4 systems. Motivation comes from a 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel V6, paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case, delivering reliable torque, excellent efficiency, and true four-season capability.

The interior conversion emphasizes comfort and function, highlighted by wood-paneled ceilings, flush LED lighting, and custom-built cabinetry throughout. Durable wood-look flooring anchors the space, while the galley is equipped with butcher-block countertops, a sink, refrigerator, microwave, and secure storage. Living amenities include fold-down televisions, integrated audio, a bench seat, and thoughtfully designed sleeping arrangements with both upper and lower beds.

This build is further upgraded with premium systems such as a Van Compass Stage 4.3 suspension, Dometic air conditioning, BougeRV solar power, Starlink internet, EcoFlow power management, a diesel air heater, LED interior and exterior lighting, an SSV sound system, and an exterior shower—making it exceptionally well-suited for extended off-grid travel. The van is being offered at no reserve, accompanied by factory literature, detailed service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Oklahoma title in the seller’s company name.

The exterior wears Tenorite Grey paint and is crowned by a Colorado Camper Van pop-top, framed by a halo rack and topped with a 300-watt BougeRV solar panel and Starlink antenna. Additional enhancements include Flarespace storage and windowed flares, Vanspeed side steps, Agile Offroad fender guards, a front LED light bar, and auxiliary side lighting. Practical features such as fog lights, parking sensors, a receiver hitch, and a sliding passenger-side door add everyday usability. Paint meter readings are available in the photo gallery.

Rolling stock consists of black 16-inch steel wheels wrapped in 285/75 BFGoodrich Baja Champion All-Terrain tires, with a full-size spare mounted at the rear. Ride quality and control are dramatically improved thanks to the Van Compass Stage 4.3 adjustable suspension, incorporating Falcon 3.3 adjustable shocks. Braking is handled by four-wheel disc brakes.

The front cabin is outfitted with power-adjustable swiveling seats upholstered in black vinyl, complemented by matching door panels, black interior trim, and a gray textured floor. Standard conveniences include power windows and door locks, automatic climate control, a surround-view camera system, Distronic adaptive cruise control, and a touchscreen infotainment system with navigation.

Behind the leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel sits a 130-mph speedometer, 5,000-rpm tachometer, digital driver information display, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer currently shows approximately 16,000 miles.

Accessed via the power sliding side door, the kitchen area is illuminated by LED lighting and equipped with butcher-block counters, lockable cabinetry, SSV audio, an Isotherm refrigerator, microwave, and sink—ideal for comfortable travel living.

The rear living and sleeping area features wood-plank ceiling panels, recessed lighting, fold-down TVs, Dometic air conditioning, a diesel air heater, and Wanderful insulated window covers. A Laveo battery-powered dry-flush toilet is neatly stored beneath the queen-size bed, while the upper bunk is reached by ladder. Electrical needs are handled by an EcoFlow control panel, managing a 10-kWh battery system paired with a 6-kW inverter.

From the factory, the 3.0-liter turbo-diesel V6 carried ratings of 188 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque, providing strong pulling power and long-range efficiency.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels or all four corners via the seven-speed automatic transmission and dual-range transfer case, making this Sprinter equally capable on pavement, snow, dirt, or remote terrain.
